Bob Foley is the visionary behind AdvanConn® and Connect‑EZ®, bringing more than three decades of construction engineering expertise to the development of innovative connection solutions that address the industry’s most persistent challenges. A structural engineer by training, Bob spent 34 years at LJB, Inc., Engineers and Architects in Dayton, Ohio, where he served as a senior partner and built a deep understanding of how structures are designed, built, and delivered in the field.
Throughout his career, Bob worked closely with general contractors and concrete subcontractors, giving him unique insight into the real-world obstacles facing construction teams and the opportunities for meaningful innovation. He also led the development of an internationally licensed network of design/build contractors, introducing an advanced concrete building technology to new markets around the world.
Following his retirement from LJB, Bob founded AdvanConn®, where his passion for simplifying the construction process took shape in the development of structural connection devices that eliminate the need for field welding. Today, AdvanConn® holds more than a dozen patents and has provided trusted connection solutions for building projects throughout North America. Guided by Bob’s vision, the company continues to advance innovations focused on delivering simple, safe, and secure construction solutions.
